This work adopts the composition method of Pingyuan, with a self inscribed poem in the upper right corner of the screen highlighting the artistic conception. Calligraphy is similar to Dong Qichang's, with a simple and elegant style. The center uses a pen, the strokes are coherent, the shapes are slender, and the pen is agile. The spatial processing between characters creates a sparse and clear effect. The Zhongshan stone in the picture is portrayed with a texture of cloisonn é, and then outlined with ink lines. The thick ink points moss, and the mountain stones are adorned with trees. The trees are painted with clumsy brushstrokes, with accurate and vibrant shapes; Large areas of blank space in the picture depict lakes, giving a sense of depth. In the close shot, there are only a few small bridges and houses, which are faintly visible. In the middle shot, a person is boating on the lake, and in the far shot, there are several houses. The overall brushstrokes are calm, with deep mountains and forests, and a faint mist and mist, exuding a rustic atmosphere. The composition of the entire work is formulaic, which is a typical work of Nanzong painting and ultimately does not break away from the barriers of the Four Kings.

Wang Chen (1720-1797 AD) had the characters Zibing, Zining, or Zining, and was also known as Peng Xin (Peng Salary), Peng Qiao, Peng Qiao Lao, Peng Xin Daoren, Peng Qiao Lao Lian, etc. Born in Taicang, Jiangsu, he is the sixth generation grandson of Wang Shimin and the great grandson of Wang Yuanqi. He is skilled at depicting landscape scenery with the elegant brushstrokes of literati, and his works are full of strong cultural atmosphere and philosophical thinking.
